En el mismo mercado por su perímetro exterior un local que vende zapallos, un gran fruto denso y pesado que se vende por trozos. Le realizan cortes para exponer la calidad de su interior con su carne color naranja intenso.

Al fruto de la tierra se le introduce una geometría para volverlo un objeto de exposición en medio de este recinto de acopio, se le realizan cortes, a unos por sus meridianos y a otros por el ecuador.

Se le introduce una figura general, cortes de planos rectilíneos al volumen irregular del fruto; la inclusión de un lenguaje general los planos rectilíneos en el cuerpo único y singular del fruto para manifestar su calidad. Cada fruto único y singular se presenta con un valor general que es un óptimo.

El mercado persigue para la ciudad y sus ciudadanos un óptimo, reunidos en un lugar los frutos singulares de la tierra para su venta.

Se obtiene un óptimo en un solo lugar donde se expone al unísono el total de lo que se dispone, el total de las existencias, tal  ofrecimiento es el presente de la ciudad.

The market brings together fruits that provide the optimum possible in the city

Mercado del Cardonal in Valparaiso.

In its interior partitions that can be closed with a key. Each enclosure is a place of display and at the same time a place of collection and storage.

At the exterior perimeter of the same market a local who sells pumpkins, a great, dense and weighty fruit that is sold in slices. Cuts are made in them to display the quality of their interior, the colour of their flesh being an intense orange.

A general figure of planar cuts is introduced to the irregular volume of the fruit; the inclusion of a general language of rectilinear planes in the unique singular body of the fruit, in order to manifest its quality. Each unique and singular fruit is presented with a general value that is an optimum.

The market pursues an optimum for the city and its citizens, singular fruits of the earth brought together in a place for their sale.

An optimum is obtained in one place where all that is available is displayed in unison, all existences, such an offering manifesting the present city.
